01 / Challenge

Developers building in public lose 30–45 minutes every day translating complex commit diffs into engaging updates. Most give up after a few weeks or break coding flow mid-feature. Furthermore, existing tools either require manual prompting or demand broad write permissions to personal social accounts.

02 / Strategic Approach

Designed a zero-friction system where content is a natural byproduct of shipping code. The platform connects to GitHub via progressive OAuth, analyzes commit metadata and file change manifests while completely ignoring lockfile noise and sensitive raw code, and formats drafts for X, LinkedIn, and Markdown changelogs.

03 / UI & UX Design

Crafted a high-contrast dark developer UI with clear visual hierarchies, streak progress calendars, and an interactive AI Copilot revision interface. Retained a strict copy-paste architecture (zero auto-posting permissions) to give builders 100% editorial safety.

04 / Development & Tech

Built with Astro and React for an instant, responsive frontend, paired with a high-throughput Hono backend in a Turborepo monorepo. Integrated Better Auth for GitHub OAuth, Redis for queue management, PostgreSQL for persistent storage, and Vercel AI SDK with Gemini and DeepSeek models for contextual technical post generation.

05 / Key Results

Delivered and launched the full MVP in a rapid 1-week sprint. Enables builders to maintain public momentum effortlessly while preserving repository privacy and zero-code leakage.

06 / Lessons Learned

Security and privacy drive developer adoption. By reading only commit metadata and utilizing a copy-paste workflow rather than demanding social publishing tokens, user trust increased significantly.
